Then today we got a bill for another $360 some for a plan. They were very professional when my husband called and reminded them that we had already canceled and immediately credited our account but it is annoying to feel like a company is trying to take your money. The tech checked the boiler and said it was working fine. I had him check 2 radiators that weren't getting heat. The tech suggested a couple things that could be wrong, including a stuck valve, but said to have someone who fixes radiators look at it. I called the company and told them what the tech had said.
They said that they would send out a real plumber to deal with the issue. The issue turned out to be a stuck flow valve, which didn't take long to fix. It is a common problem, and not that hard to fix, but I had to pay more than $300 for a second visit to get it fixed. Bottom line, the $65 covers a tech who checks for the basics but won't fix anything that is wrong. They do have competent people who can fix things, but that's extra. My ratings are an average of my experiences with the tech and the master plumber.
